Devlog #65 & Kalyzmyr v1.1 Release


Hello everyone! Global Game Jam is finally here and we are excited!

 We are currently working on our jam game with Shyseel. We are making a game where you play as a secretary whose aim is to reduce efficiency in the office by distracting staff. After the jam, I plan to make it into an adult game. I wanted to work on this kind of game for a long while. Hopefully we’ll participate in Steam Next Fest with this game, along with Dekamara(if that’s possible).

Kalyzmyr is released on Google Play Store! Since the Steam release, I’ve been getting automated bug reports and thanks to this youtube video, I found out 2 game breaking bugs. I can only get bug reports when the game crashes so it’s really hard for me to figure out other bugs. Anyway, here is the changelog for v1.1:

  • Fixed stunned enemies not dying
  • Fixed players level up each time they spawn(after level changes or player dies etc..)
  • Fixed dying in the first defense stage of the new level resulting in broken state.
  • Spike traps now can hit air type enemies.
  • Fixed crash if players earn a reward on Boss Challenge room.

I’ve also uploaded an early version of Dekamara to our exclusive Discord channel. It introduces some bug fixes and some improvements for controller support.
